2. Field Research Report: Registration and Approval Procedure
·(For Students) Log into the Academic Information System(https://ais.ust.ac.kr)
- Menu: Course Management > Field Research Management > Register Field Research Report
- Enter monthly performances and upload the Field Research Report (free format), then click the submit button.
※ The monthly performances and the report are different; copy-paste is prohibited.
·(For Professors) Log into the Academic Information System(https://ais.ust.ac.kr)
- Menu: Course Management > Field Research Management > Approve/Manage Field Research Reports
- Approve or reject the submitted report
※ If the field research was taken under a professor other than the student’s academic advisor, the professor must approve first, followed by the academic advisor's final approval.
·(For UST Educational affairs Division) Professors with pending approvals will be notified continuously after the student submits the report.
3. Important Notes
· Students enrolled in field research courses must submit a field research report to be eligible for a grade.
※ This also applies to students under completion; a grade will be given (though not reflected in GPA).
· Professors cannot enter grades if the student does not submit the report.
· The field research report serves as evidence for academic evaluation, and must be completed sincerely.
· Students must request approval from the professor promptly after submission to ensure timely approval.
· The Ombudsperson may review the field research guidance, activity details, and report, and may provide feedback if necessary.
4. Subtitle for Field Research (for Grade Entry)
· Professors must enter a brief subtitle (3–4 words) summarizing the student’s research topic when entering grades.
※ This subtitle will be displayed on the academic transcript.

5. Course Evaluation and Grade Confirmation
· Please note that you have to conduct the course evaluation to check your grades for the semester.
· To help improve the quality of lecture, students are strongly encouraged to complete the course evaluation.
· Course evaluations must be submitted within the grade correction request period to access and request any changes to grades.
※ When evaluating joint lectures, each participating professor must be evaluated.
※ Grades for credit exchange courses may be reflected later depending on the schedule of other universities.
