National Strategy Major

Long-term major field operation to discover and support stable science and technology manpower in the national strategy
Current Problem Solving Major*

Operate mid- to long-term major fields to discover and nurture science and technology talents who can immediately respond to pending government issues

In response to public demand and government requests, major operations (ICT fields such as AI, infectious diseases, artificial intelligence, machine learning, environmental fields such as fine dust, earthquake, radioactivity, materials, parts, and equipment)

Flexible major management

  • Easy to open and close majors according to national strategies and pending issues
  • Reorganization of the two to three-year curriculum and organization of new curriculum for each semester according to changes in the R&D environment

Re-appointment of faculty every 3 years

  • Easy to hire new faculty necessary for the establishment of a major and the organization of new courses
  • Major whose necessity has decreased in maintained only until the graduation of enrolled students (abolition of major, no re-employment of faculty)
