Through this class, the students are expected to understand the basics and the cores of neural networks including error back propagation and deep learning. Topics will include artificial neural networks basics, convolutional neural networks, generative models( autoencoders, generative adversarial networks), recurrent neural networks including lstm and possibly recent advances in this field, if time allows. As a final note, it course is recommended to the students who are 1) interested in deep learning, of course 2) has a basic knowledge on Python or be willing to learn it quickly.
