해양과학 전공은 해양을 연구하고 보전, 개발하기 위한 전문 인력 양성을 목표로 물리해양학, 화학해양학, 생물해양학, 지질해양학을 포함하는 해양학 세부전공과 해양생명공학, 해양환경학, 위성해양학 등을 포함하는 응용해양과학 세부전공으로 구성되어 있다. 전문석사과정으로 운영되는 런던의정서 경영공학 세부전공은 개발도상국 공무원을 대상으로 해양환경복원과 연안공학에 대한 지식을 전하고 있다.

세부 전공명 전공내용
해양학 해양학 세부전공은 물리해양학, 화학해양학, 해양생물학, 지질해양학 및 해양기후학 등 해양학에 관한 기초분야를 체계적으로 학습하고, 첨단 해양관측장비 운용과 수치모델링 기법을 습득함으로써 미래 해양학 분야 전문인력 양성을 목표로 하고 있다.
응용해양과학 응용해양과학 세부전공은 해양천연물화학, 해양생명공학, 해양환경학, 환경생물학, 위성해양학 및 연안공학 등을 전문적으로 학습하고, 해양측정 및 분석장비 운용기법을 습득함으로써 미래 응용해양과학 분야 전문인력 양성을 목표로 하고 있다.
런던의정서 경영공학 런던의정서 경영공학 세부전공은 런던의정서 준수 지원을 위해 해양환경 및 연안공학 분야 사업에 관여하는 외국 공무원을 대상으로 개설된 전문석사학위 과정이다. 이 전공은 런던의정서의 주요 의제인 폐기물 해양투기 및 해양환경복원에 관한 문제들과 연안공학에 대한 지식 및 기술 습득을 통해 해양/연안 관련 프로젝트를 효과적으로 관리하는 전문인력 양성을 목표로 하고 있다.
