Common Competency Education
Implementation of common competency education based on UST's core values (4C) and 6 Core Competencies framework, covering areas such as AI, Big Data, and statistical analysis. This aims to enhance a sense of belonging and community among UST freshmen, as well as fostering creativity, a spirit of challenge, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
Research Skills Training
Training in research skills such as planning and management, statistics, and paper writing.

All students participate in national research and development projects, and they are required to complete research-based courses every semester from admission to graduation. Collaboration with other labs, research institutions, and companies working on projects is possible after consultation with the advising professor. Advanced Facilities and equipment are used for in-depth major education.
