Common Competency Education
Implementation of common competency education based on UST's core values (4C) and 15 essential competency framework, covering areas such as AI, Big Data, and statistical analysis. This aims to enhance a sense of belonging and community among UST freshmen, as well as fostering creativity, a spirit of challenge, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
Research Skills Training
Training in research skills such as planning and management, statistics, and paper writing.
General Competency Education(Extracurricular)
UST - STARTREK(Freshmen Preparatory Education), Learning Support Programs (Korean, English, writing, presentation skills, etc.).
Major Foundation Education
The Major Foundation Education makes active use of partner universities with structured curricula, utilizing credits from 50raduate schools of credit exchange universities such as KAIST, Seoul National University, Yonsei University, etc.

Flexible major operations responsive to national/industry demands.

Research-Centric Education
All students participate in national research and development projects, and they are required to complete research-based courses every semester from admission to graduation. Collaboration with other labs, research institutions, and companies working on projects is possible after consultation with the advising professor. Advanced Facilities and equipment are used for in-depth major education.

Specialized courses related to project execution.
Young Scientist+ Nurturing
Supporting research funding for doctoral students to independently strengthen their research capabilities and grow into global-level researchers by completing the entire R&D project cycle.
Self-Directed Learning Content
Supporting Free E-Learning Courses for Self-Learning in Accredited English Test Preparation (Hacker's Education) and College-Level Fundamental STEM (Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
Student Counseling
Supporting students in understanding their rights and responsibilities, fostering healthy relationships with themselves and others to facilitate personal growth.
