Introduction
KIMS, an independent corporation in 2020, is a specialized research institute in the field of materials, leading national technological innovation through research and development related to material technology, and conducting research that contributes to the development of industry. KIMS operates a Master’s and doctoral courses at the UST-KIMS school in order to develop human resources in materials science and engineering. Six research headquarters are involved in this process, including the Metallic Materials Division, Powder Materials Division, Ceramic Materials Division, Surface Materials Division, Composite Materials Division, and Materials Digital Platform Division. This school selects excellent students from all over the world and conducts research-focused education in which students directly participate in research subjects.
